After a flurry of talks over the past week, negotiators for Legal Services NY and the organization's union have reached an agreement in principle on a new collective bargaining agreement that could end a more than month-long strike.

The union is scheduled to meet Monday afternoon to consider the plan, said Legal Services Staff Association press liaison Ian Davie. If the more than 200-member union approves the plan, all members could be back to work by Tuesday, said Davie, who called the new proposal's terms "very favorable for our employees."
