Rockland County’s request for bids on a public bus contract did not violate the state’s competitive bidding statutes, the Appellate Division, Second Department has ruled.
A unanimous panel on April 24 reversed a lower court’s ruling that the county’s process for bidding on the contract, worth about $70 million, ran afoul of state and local laws.
