ESTATE OF DENISE BOONE, a/k/a DENISE E. BOONE, Deceased. (1667/12) — In this probate proceeding, Regina Barrett and Gregory Lee (the petitioners) filed a petition on May 9, 2012, seeking to probate a written instrument, dated November 30, 2009, purporting to be the last will and testament (the propounded instrument) of Denise Boone, a/k/a Denise E. Boone (the decedent). On August 8, 2012, this court appointed a guardian ad litem for Naiysha Boone, a/k/a Naiysha Griffin Boone (the infant), the minor adopted daughter and distributee of the decedent.1

On December 4, 2012, the guardian ad litem submitted her report, in which she recommended that the propounded instrument be admitted to probate upon satisfaction of certain stipulated conditions. By stipulation dated March 5, 2013 and filed with the court on March 14, 2013, the petitioners have agreed that, upon probate of the propounded instrument, the petitioners, as executors of the decedent’s estate and trustees of the decedent’s living trust, shall issue a check in the amount of $25,000.00 to Michael L. Kaplan, Esq., to be held in his IOLA account for the benefit of the infant, and upon her attaining the age of majority on November 17, 2013, said amount shall be paid to the infant. The petitioners further stipulate that they shall provide the guardian ad litem with proof of release of said funds.
