• Steven Russo, the deputy commissioner and general counsel to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, is joining Greenberg Traurig as chair of the New York environmental practice. He concentrates in environmental law and litigation, permitting, government, energy, land use and real estate law.

• Reed Smith has added Jeffrey Page as a partner in the financial industry group, focusing on commercial real estate transactions. He was a partner at Riemer & Braunstein.

• Lewis Greenwald has joined Mayer Brown as a partner in the tax transactions and consulting practice, focusing on providing international tax planning for multinational clients. He was a partner at Sullivan & Worcester in Boston, where he headed the firm’s international tax practice group.

• Steven Wagner, John Wagner and Bonnie Reid Berkow have joined Porzio, Bromberg & Newman. Steven Wagner joins as a principal, while his brother John Wagner and Bonnie Reid Berkow are of counsel. All three practice in real estate law and were former principals at Wagner Davis, a firm founded by Steven Wagner.

• Ruskin Moscou Faltischek in Uniondale has added Vivian Breier as a partner in the corporate and securities department. She was general counsel for telecommunications service provider Aperio CI.

• Moses & Singer has added Carole Bass as a trusts and estates partner to work with individuals and families to create tax-efficient estate plans. She was previously a counsel to SNR Denton.

• Wachtel Masyr & Missry has added Mitch Fenton and Robert Bourguignon as of counsel in the real estate group. Bourguignon is also in the corporate practice. Both were partners at Troutman Sanders.

• Latham & Watkins elected two New York attorneys to the partnership: Maria Barton, white-collar defense and investigations, and Christopher Dorian, banking.

• Withers Bergman of counsel Joseph Field has been appointed to the advisory board of the Family Office Association, a global membership group exclusive to single family offices and families of wealth.
