The New York State Bar Association’s Commercial and Federal Litigation Section presented its Distinguished Service Award to former Supreme Court Justice Bernard Fried during an Oct. 10 meeting. The section honored Fried for his more than three-decade career on the bench, having served in Manhattan’s Commercial Division since 2004.
Fried, who left the bench in July, is now with JAMS, a mediation and arbitration provider. With him is section chair Tracee Davis, of counsel to Zeichner Ellman & Krause.
