LOS ANGELES – An underwriter to five Chinese companies that got sued for alleged accounting fraud associated with their public offerings in the United States has filed a legal malpractice case against its former attorneys at Wilk Auslander in New York.

WestPark Capital Inc. and two of its senior executives filed the suit on Aug. 27 in federal court in Los Angeles against Wilk Auslander; partners Jay Auslander and Natalie Shkolnik; associates Julie Cilia, Bradley Rice and Zach Gross; and Joseph Zelmanovitz, of counsel to the firm.
