Amsterdam’s ING Bank NV has agreed to pay $619 million in a deferred prosecution agreement with Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. and the U.S. Department of Justice related to its role in moving billions of dollars through U.S. financial institutions on behalf of Iranian and Cuban entities.

The agreement concludes a two-year investigation by Manhattan prosecutors and federal authorities. Half the funds will go to the city and state of New York.
