Steven B. Rosenfeld, formerly of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, and Allen S. Joslyn, who retired from Cahill Gordon & Reindel and is now of counsel to Nordquist & Stern, demonstrate how an attorney’s “golden years” can be priceless to those in need of pro bono representation.

Mr. Rosenfeld, 68, a former president of the Legal Aid Society, is involved in myriad pro bono causes, including a Manhattan Family Court project in which he contributed 630 hours to help 30 children in 2010. Mr. Joslyn, 75, has spent the past 12 years providing pro bono services, largely to low-income elderly clients through the Legal Aid Society’s Brooklyn Office for the Aging and Brooklyn Neighborhood Office.
