The funding in Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg’s executive budget for New York City’s six prosecutors is 1.3 percent less than what the offices are now spending.

The executive budget provides the city’s five district attorneys and its special narcotics prosecutor with $257.2 million for the fiscal year beginning July 1. That amount is $3.4 million less than the $260.6 million they are budgeted for the current fiscal year, which began on July 1, 2010.
