Zero Containment — An assistant prosecutor cited for leaking information about an expunged criminal case has been cleared, apparently because a judge feared that trying the case would result in still more information getting out.

Assistant Somerset County Prosecutor Daryl Williams had been charged with a disorderly persons offense under N.J.S.A. 2C:52-30 for allegedly disclosing information, in a brief and in court, about a Dec. 7, 2009, expungement order in the case of Joseph Oettinger III, who had challenged a search and seizure at his home stemming from suspect Internet publishings.
