Petitioner and respondent are mother and father to child T.V.G. The parties in February 2022 agreed to a final order of custody and parenting time on consent in which they agreed to joint legal custody of the child, with the respondent-father having residential custody for school purposes. Petitioner-mother brought a petition to modify the custody order seeking residential custody.

Nassau County Family Court Judge Darlene Harris ordered that the father would retain full residential custody, citing concerns about the petitioner’s relationship, and cohabitation, with her boyfriend, identified as V.S. in court filings.
