Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has filed suit against Attorney General Letitia James in an attempt to force her office to release nearly 200 undisclosed interview memos from her 2021 investigation that led to his resignation.

“The public has both a right and interest in knowing the work of Respondents and Respondents’ full basis in making the significant and impactful decisions in issuing the consequential Report and causing the resignation of their democratically elected governor,” reads the lawsuit, which was filed Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court.
