The scion of a prominent New York art family is seeking a new trial over a disputed will, claiming a Manhattan jury got it wrong when they found her elder sister did not exercise undue influence over their mother in overseeing the preparation of a new will that drastically limited her inheritances.

Lawyers for Melissa Neumann filed their appeal with the Appellate Division, First Department last week, alleging the judge and jury erred in finding Belinda Neumann Donnelly did not unduly influence their mother Dolores Ormandy Neumann.
