Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron on Thursday said he would allow attorneys for Donald Trump and others to present expert witnesses in their case-in-chief combatting the New York attorney general’s business fraud case—but would keep them on a very short leash.

“I’m going to allow the testimony,” he said of defense experts Steven Laposa, Jason Flemmons, Steve Witkoff, and David Miller, who are expected to discuss property and asset valuation, industry standards, and generally accepted accounting principles.
