Investment entity Warlock Partners has filed suit against The Arena Group, alleging the media company wrongfully withheld trading rights and is therefore liable to Warlock for tens of millions of dollars worth of trading losses.

Warlock—which was at one point Arena’s second-largest shareholder—acquired preferred and restricted common shares on both the secondary market as well as directly from Arena starting in 2020, according to the complaint.
