As longtime Dutchess County District Attorney William Grady prepares to vacate his seat, two veteran prosecutors in his office are facing off for the role of next District Attorney of the mid-state county.

Anthony Parisi, a Democrat, has been with the office for more than 25 years. He began his legal career with the Dutchess County Public Defenders office and currently serves as Chief of the Dutchess County D.A. Major Crimes Bureau.
