Legal battles fought in the wake of the Child Victims Act cleared the way for some aspects of litigation under the Adult Survivors Act, according to plaintiffs lawyers.

“There have been some really favorable plaintiff decisions in CVA cases,” said Susan Crumiller, founder of Crumiller P.C. and co-founder of the Survivors Law Project with Carrie Goldberg of C.A. Goldberg PLLC.
