The New York State Bar Association on Monday withdrew its request for an order forcing the state government to increase pay for assigned counsel, citing the inclusion of increased fees for 18-B attorneys in the new executive budget.

“In light of the State’s belated decision to provide much of the relief requested in plaintiff New York State Bar Association’s motion for a preliminary injunction [...] plaintiff hereby withdraws that motion without prejudice,” Michael Dell wrote in a filing to withdraw plaintiff’s motion for a preliminary injunction.
