White & Case has ended its nearly $8.3 million suit over legal fees launched against a special purpose acquisition company, less than a week after bringing the action, saying the “parties have amicably resolved their disputes.”

In a terse court filing Friday, the major international firm said it “hereby voluntarily discontinued with prejudice” the lawsuit it leveled against Colonnade Acquisition Corp. II, referred to as CAC II, and five individually named company directors.
