Attorneys representing Ghislaine Maxwell, the former British socialite and longtime confidante of Jeffrey Epstein, filed a 102-page brief in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Tuesday, arguing that she was prosecuted as a “proxy” for Epstein.
