Plaintiffs Robin Hatfield and Lisa Roberts sued Walmart alleging that their children developed autism spectrum disorder and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder because they took Equate, Walmart’s over-the-counter (OTC) acetaminophen while pregnant.

Plaintiffs claimed Walmart violated state law by failing to warn them of the risks of prenatal exposure to acetaminophen.
