The implementation of a “look-back” period for Medicaid home care has been in flux for almost three years. See NYLJ Elder Law column Major Change in Community Medicaid but Uncertainty as to Implementation (May 19, 2021). Some of that uncertainty has been lifted by the NYS Department of Health.
