A veteran real estate attorney in Manhattan was disbarred Tuesday after acknowledging that he can’t defend against allegations that he willfully misappropriated $600,000 in attorney escrow account funds tied to a client’s real estate transaction.

Jonathan Bruce Fisher, who runs a solo or small Manhattan firm focused on real estate, litigation and M&A work, according to online records, voluntarily resigned from the state bar, which led to his disbarment as ordered by the Appellate Division, First Department court.
