New York Attorney General Letitia James, together with AGs from five other states, blitzed National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell on Wednesday, demanding that he address gender-based discrimination amid recent allegations of workplace inequity in the league. 

A letter from James to Goodell, which was co-signed by attorneys general from Illinois, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Oregon and Washington, expressed “grave concerns” about allegations detailed in the New York Times by more than 30 former employees of the NFL who described overt hostility to women.
