A federal judge has appointed warring factions of lawyers to lead antitrust lawsuits brought by digital advertisers against Google and Facebook.

U.S. District Senior Judge P. Kevin Castel, on Thursday, named Dena Sharp and Tina Wolfson as interim class counsel overseeing all the advertiser claims in the multidistrict litigation. In so doing, he rebuffed attempts by lawyers Jonathan Rubin and Fred Isquith to maintain separate counsel for advertisers suing over a 2018 agreement between Facebook and Google.
