ByteDance, the Beijing-based company behind video app TikTok, was slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit Tuesday in California Northern District Court.

The suit was filed by the Long Island-based Sanders Law Group on behalf of Stephen Yang, a who claims the defendant reproduced a photograph he took for the New York Post of a UPS driver on the site TopBuzz.com without permission. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant.
