Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer continues to be one of the most preferred new homes for former New York federal prosecutors transitioning into private practice. The latest to join is Michael Kim Krouse, who had served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York since 2016, who Monday joined the firm’s white-collar defense and investigations practice as a partner.

Krouse reunites at Arnold & Porter with a number of former colleagues and notable names from the storied SDNY prosecutor’s bench. Marcus Asner, Manvin Mayell, Nancy Milburn, Michael Rogoff, Sara Shudofsky and Craig Stewart are all SDNY alumni who are now resident in the Am Law 100 firm’s New York offices. Two other SDNY alumni—William Hoffman and Baruch Weiss—are at the firm’s Washington, D.C., headquarters.
