The City Bar Justice Center has announced 11 recipients of this year’s Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award, in which the legal services group honors “dedicated volunteer attorneys” and legal professionals who have stood out for their work on the center’s civil justice projects.

In a news release announcing the award recipients, Kurt Denk, the Justice Center’s executive director, noted that the 2021 award winners “have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to providing life-changing legal assistance to our clients as they continue navigating the effects of the pandemic—a crisis that has taken a serious toll on those already experiencing socioeconomic and systemic barriers.”
