Dozens of hair and beauty salons in western New York will continue with their lawsuit against targeted coronavirus restrictions even after being allowed to open by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, attorneys for the businesses said this week.

The businesses are allowed to reopen if workers undergo weekly testing for the virus. But attorney Corey Hogan, who is representing the salons, argued that testing is hard to schedule and there are constitutional arguments they aim to litigate in court regarding the governor’s pandemic powers.
