The New York City Bar Association on Tuesday released its judicial ratings for candidates running in New York City’s Supreme Court and Civil Court elections Nov. 3.

The bar association declined to comment on its ratings of “approved” and “not approved” beyond explaining that its Committee on the Judiciary found that approved candidates have “affirmatively demonstrated qualifications necessary for the performance of the duties of the position for which they are being considered.”
