Firing back just hours after learning he’d been disbarred in New York State, and promising to appeal the ruling to the highest levels, Steven Donziger said in an interview Thursday that his disbarment “was unfair, it should concern every lawyer, and, in my view, it is a violation of my due-process rights.”

“This is a tremendous miscarriage of justice,” Donziger said during a phone interview, his voice growing loud at times. “The acts on which my disbarment are based are false.”
