A day after the New York City Police Department said it completed its investigation into the death of Court of Appeals Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam, a representative of the city’s medical examiner said the office had not yet determined an official cause.

“We are reviewing all the information we have in order to make a determination,” said Julie Bolcer, a spokeswoman for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
