Trump’s nomination of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court stands out as likely his biggest success in office. So it is no surprise that Trump is eager for a repeat performance. Secondhand sources say he hopes to replace Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor, solidifying a conservative majority for decades to come. If even one departs in 2018, expect an epic Senate battle over successors. Possible contenders: appeals judges Raymond Kethledge, Amul Thapar and Washington fave Brett Kavanaugh.
