Wiley Rein’s revenues and profits per partner held nearly steady in a year when the firm saw big wins in court and some expansion internally.

Revenue stayed around $232 million from 2012 to 2013. Profits per partner rose by about $7,000 per partner, to just under $1.2 million per partner. And net income grew by approximately $3 million to about $85 million.

The firm added five lawyers, bringing its headcount to 277. That growth included the addition of two equity partner positions, bringing the total to 71 firmwide.

“We’re likely not really to have great divergences year to year,” said Richard Wiley, firm co-founder and chairman of its largest practice group, communications. “Last year was an extremely good year for us.”
