Moore & Van Allen (Charlotte): Zachary Smith joins the firm’s bankruptcy and financial restructuring team as partner in the Charlotte office and will represent strategic investors, creditors, lenders and debtors in in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Bingham McCutchen: Frances Murphy joins the firm’s antitrust, competition and trade-regulation practice as partner in the London office and will represent global clients in European Union and domestic competition matters. Previously, Murphy was a partner at Jones Day.
Liner Grode Stein Yankelevitz Sunshine Regenstreif & Taylor (Los Angeles): Bill Pham joins the firm as partner and will focus on the creation of airspace ­subdivisions, development of high-rise condominiums, retail/residential mixed use projects, master planned communities and acquisition of distressed condominium construction loans. Previously, Pham was a partner at McKenna Long & Aldridge.
Littler Mendelson (San Francisco): Celeste Yeager joins the firm as partner in the Dallas office and will focus on labor and employment litigation. Previously, Yeager was a partner at Gardere Wynne Sewell.
Mayer Brown: Trevor Wood joins the firm’s banking and finance team as partner in the London office and will focus on syndicated and bilateral lending, leveraged finance and structured finance. Previously, Wood was a partner at Berwin Leighton Paisner.
Foley & Mansfield (Minneapolis): Howard Wallach has been named managing partner of the Detroit and Grand Rapids, Mich., offices. Wallach succeeds Gary Sharp, who will remain chairman of the firm’s toxic torts group. Wallach focuses on commercial law and litigation.
CH2M Hill (Englewood, Colo.): Gregory Nixon joins the company, an engineering, construction and operations consulting firm, as senior vice president and chief legal officer and will oversee the global legal team and risk management professionals. Previously, Nixon was senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at DynCorp International Inc.
Debevoise & Plimpton (New York): Andy Soh joins the firm’s litigation team as international counsel to the Hong Kong office and will focus on internal investigations, complex commercial disputes and government enforcement defense. Previously, Soh was executive counsel for Asia-Pacific litigation and investigations at General Electric International Inc.
Greenberg Traurig: Felicia Manno joins the firm’s litigation practice as partner in the Chi­cago office and will focus on white-collar criminal defense and health care matters. Previously, Manno served as the criminal health care fraud coordinator in the U.S. attorney’s office in Chicago.
Holland & Knight: Stephen Double joins the firm’s Latin America and financial services practice groups as partner in the New York office and will represent investment banks, financial institutions and corporations in connection with capital markets and finance transactions, with a primary focus on Brazil and Latin Ameri­ca. Previously, Double was of counsel to Arnold & Porter.
Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton (Atlanta): Tamara Caldas joins the firm as pro bono partner in the Atlanta office and will supervise pro bono work at the firm, succeeding Debbie Segal, who will retire at the end of the year. Previously, Caldas was deputy director of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
Troutman Sanders (Atlanta): Chad Fuller joins the firm’s financial services litigation practice as partner in the San Diego office and will focus on the defense of consumer class actions for financial services companies. Previously, Fuller was a partner at Goodwin Procter. Additionally, Richard O’Leary joins the firm’s business litigation practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on commercial litigation and products liability matters. Previously, O’Leary was a partner at McCarter & English.
