Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale (St. Louis): David Goodman joins as partner in the Chicago office and will focus on business, insurance-coverage and torts litigation. Previously, he was a partner at Shaw Fishman Glantz & Towbin.

Littler Mendelson (San Francisco): Douglas Bria joins the firm as partner and will focus on employment litigation, including class actions and electronic discovery matters. Previously, Bria was a partner at Jackson Lewis.

McCarter & English (Newark, N.J.): David Woronov joins the corporate, securities and financial institutions practice as partner in the Boston office and will focus on international transactions. Previously, Woronov was a partner with Posternak Blankstein & Lund.

McGuireWoods: Brian Swett joins the firm's restructuring and insolvency department as partner in the Chicago office and will represent senior secured lenders and other stakeholders in business restructurings and insolvencies. Previously, Swett was a partner at Win­ston & Strawn.

Perkins Coie (Seattle): Allan Low joins the firm's real estate practice as partner in the San Francisco office and will focus on complex development projects and real estate matters. Previously, Low was a partner at Nixon Peabody.

Goodwin Procter (Boston): Grant Fondo joins the securities litigation and white-collar defense group as partner in the Menlo Park, Calif., office and will focus on litigation and investigative matters. Previously, Fondo served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Northern District of California.


Holland & Knight: Miguel De Grandy joins as partner in the Miami office and will focus on public policy and regulatory matters. Prev­iously, he was a principal at his own government-affairs boutique.

Katten Muchin Rosenman: Terance Gonsalves joins the firm's litigation practice in the Chicago office and will focus on commercial litigation and regulatory and compliance matters. Previously, Gonsalves was vice president and deputy general counsel of litigation for Career Education Corp.

Lowenstein Sandler (Roseland, N.J.): Michele Alexander joins the firm's business tax counseling and structuring practice as partner in the New York office and will focus on business tax issues, particularly involving transactions and private equity. Previously, Alexander was counsel to Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.

McDermott Will & Emery: Marisa Chun joins the trial practice group as partner in the Menlo Park, Calif., office and will focus on complex commercial matters. Previously, Chun was deputy associate attorney general in the U.S. Department of Justice.

Morrison & Foerster: Stephen Cox joins the real estate practice as of counsel to the New York office and will focus on real estate financing. Previously, Cox was managing director and head of transactions and debt capital markets at Hypothekenbank Frankfurt A.G.

Post & Schell (Philadelphia): Sarah Yerger joins as partner in the Harrisburg, Pa., office and will represent businesses in commercial and constitutional litigation and employment matters. Previ­ously, she was senior deputy Pennsyl­vania attorney general.

Venable (Washington): Po Yi joins the advertising and marketing group as partner in the New York office and will focus on advertising, marketing and intellectual property issues. Previous­ly, Yi was vice president and chief advertising counsel for American Express Co.
