NEW ASSOCIATE ARRIVALS

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn (Detroit): Robert Riley joins the firm’s litigation department as an associate. Riley focuses his practice on commercial litigation in connection with bankruptcy and insolvency. He received his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 2008.

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton (Atlanta): Cynthia Rickett joins the firm’s intellectual property department as an associate in the Seattle office. Rickett focuses her practice on patent preparation, prosecution and counseling in the areas of software and technology. Rickett received her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2011. Matthew Hindman joins the firm’s intellectual property office as an associate in the San Francisco office. Hindman focuses his practice on patent preparation, prosecution and litigation in the areas of computer hardware and software, wireless communications, microprocessors, chipsets, mobile technology, global positioning systems and data storage. Previously, Hindman was an associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. Hindman earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2009. Erwin Cena joins the firm’s patent litigation team as an associate in the San Diego office. Cena focuses his practice on patent litigation, commercial litigation, products liability and construction defect matters. Previously, Cena was an associate at Morris Polich & Purd. He received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2010.

Miller & Martin (Atlanta): Megan Taylor joins the firm’s litigation department as an associate in the Atlanta office. Taylor focuses her practice on complex civil litigation. Previously, she was an associate at Jones Day. Taylor received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2008.

Rich May (Boston): James Heffernan joins the firm’s real estate practice group as an associate. Heffernan focuses his practice on commercial real estate, land use, and corporate law. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2007.

Thompson & Knight (Dallas): Walker Brierre joins the firm’s corporate and securities practice as an associate in the Houston office. Brierre focuses his practice on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, joint ventures, and distressed investments. Previously, he was an associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel. Brierre received his J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 2009.

Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod (Miami): Rafael Ribeiro has been promoted to litigation partner in the Miami office. Ribeiro focuses his practice on representing clients in complex commercial litigation, internal investigations, international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. Ribeiro received his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2004.

Hughes Hubbard & Reed: Savvas Foukas, Eric Parnes and Michael Tiger have been promoted to partnership at the firm. Foukas joins the firm’s litigation practice in the New York office. Foukas focuses his practice on complex and high-profile securities litigation and regulatory matters. Foukas received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2001. Parnes joins the firm’s litigation practice in the Washington office. Parnes focuses his practice on health care and pharmaceutical industries-related issues Parnes received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2002. Tiger joins the firm’s litigation practice in the New York office. Tiger focuses his practice on litigating complex, multijurisdictional matters in courts around the country. Tiger received his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2001.
