The number of women associates working at the nation’s law firms declined for the third year in a row during 2012, according to NALP.
Women accounted for 45.05 percent of all associates, marking only the third time since NALP began tracking the numbers in 1993 that the percentage of women associates has dropped. Last year, their percentage was 45.35.
