Cardozo will add a joint degree program in which students can earn both a juris doctor and a master’s of public health degree and is awaiting final state approval for a program that combines a J.D. with a master’s degree in science and bioethics. Cardozo is collaborating on the programs with Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein School of Medicine.

“These programs can give applicants an edge in any job where medicine and the law intersect — such as public policy, public health, health care and bioethics,” said Dean Matthew Diller said.
