The Kansas Supreme Court's issued a 120-day suspension against attorney Lyle J. Koenig stemming from a letter written by Koenig to the county attorney's office seeking a hush-hush agreement to dismiss traffic violations against an associate in his practice. Although Koenig insisted it was a joke, the court was not amused and found that his conduct ran afoul of attorney ethics rules.
