A unanimous New York high court Thursday revived an investor dispute against online fantasy sports company FanDuel, ordering the matter to continue in a Manhattan Commercial Division court under Scottish law.

The Court of Appeals’ 7-0 decision, written by Judge Madeline Singas, said a lower court should not have dismissed the case brought by 130 of FanDuel’s founders, early employees and startup funders, who allege the company and two private equity investors left them out of interest from a 2018 merger with European sports bookmaker Paddy Power Betfair.
