Baltimore-based Miles & Stockbridge is looking toward geographic expansion after seeing gross revenue rise by around 2% to $128.5 million while profits per equity partner and revenue per lawyer reached their highest point in firm history.
However, as the Am Law 200 firm saw some lateral departures and contraction in its partnership, attorney head count dropped for the second year in a row by 8% in 2023 to 162. As a result, the firm’s revenue per lawyer grew 11% to $790,000.
