The U.S. Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that a case involving a disabled woman who filed more than 600 Americans with Disabilities Act lawsuits is now moot, declining to address a question about the standing of serial ADA testers.

The mootness decision comes after serial plaintiff Deborah Laufer abandoned her ADA claims following a disciplinary proceeding against her ADA attorney, who was accused by a judicial panel of lying in negotiations with defendant hotels across the country to inflate settlement figures.
