As momentum builds for the energy transition, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe is doubling down on its investment in the sector with the addition of Greenberg Traurig’s global co-head of energy project finance John Eliason.

Eliason, a tax equity attorney, was also the co-chair of Foley & Lardner’s energy industry team before joining Greenberg Traurig. He joined Orrick on Monday in Washington, D.C., at a time when the renewable and alternative energy landscape is being “turbocharged” since the Inflation Reduction Act and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act were signed into law, Eliason said.
