A group of partners from U.K.-founded Clyde & Co has left to start its own national insurance boutique, Werner Ahari Mangel, with an office in Washington, D.C., that will counsel clients in a variety of claims-monitoring and coverage matters.

The boutique launched this week with nine founding partners, including name partners Meredith Werner, Leslie Ahari and Douglas Mangel. The six additional founding partners are Joseph Bailey, Cary Economou, Alan Joaquin, Nena Mashaw, Gabriela Richeimer and Stacey Rufe.
