Crowell & Moring is building up its government affairs group, adding as co-chair Aaron Cummings, who was chief of staff to Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa.
Cummings will co-lead the group with partner Jim Flood, former counsel to Sen. Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer, D-New York. The arrangement follows a similar bipartisan leadership structure of other firms’ government affairs practices.
