The American Bar Association is urging the U.S. Supreme Court to allow race to be a factor in college admissions in a new brief filed Monday. 

The brief, led by Loretta Lynch, former U.S. attorney general and current partner at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, argues affirmative action has been key to elevating minority students and young attorneys within the ranks of the ABA and around the nation.
