A federal judge on Tuesday upheld seditious conspiracy charges against nine members of the far-right Oath Keepers group accused of taking part in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta of the District of Columbia found that the charge was appropriately applied to the allegations against Oath Keepers leader Elmer Stewart Rhodes and eight others, most of whom are accused of storming the Capitol.
