A federal judge asked the U.S. Department of Justice to refer a Jan. 6 rioter’s case to the Social Security Administration after video showed he’d spent all day on his feet, pushing back against police lines and driving to and from Washington, D.C.

“He drove all the way from New York, went to the rally, listened till the last speech, standing the entire time,” said U.S. District Chief Judge Beryl Howell of the District of Columbia, before recounting the footage of defendant Anthony Vuksanaj’s participation in the melee.
