A federal judge is considering terminating sanctions against Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Facebook for “dilatory discovery conduct” in the multidistrict litigation over the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
During a brief Zoom hearing on Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria threw out the idea as an alternative to extending discovery deadlines another three months, as requested by plaintiffs’ attorney Derek Loeser.
